Liverpool Echo - Liverpool suffered their first defeat in the Champions League group stage, losing 3-2 to Fenerbahce in Istanbul.

- Liverpool took the lead through Trey Nionni, but Fenerbahce responded with two crucial goals from Archie Brown and Vedat Muriqi.
- Iraola also added that the team should have done better in setting up the wall for free kicks and dealing with long balls towards the end of the game.
- This defeat means Liverpool must reassess their defensive setup to prepare for the next match.
