Gareth Taylor's Team Update Ahead of Anfield Clash
Gareth Taylor has confirmed there are no new injury concerns for Liverpool Women ahead of their return to Anfield this weekend.
Liverpool FC (Official) Gareth Taylor, manager of Liverpool Women, has reported that there are no new injuries within the squad before their return to Anfield this weekend, where they will face Arsenal in the Barclays Women's Super League, following their 2-0 victory over Everton earlier in the season.
Taylor expects the team to be in a similar condition to when they visited West Ham, with players like Marie Ward and Lucy Parry having more training time this week. Additionally, there is positive news regarding Ceri Holland, who may be able to return to action next week, but other players such as Anna Jozefowicz, Sophie Roman Haug, and Aurelie Sillick will require a longer recovery period.
"Ceri Holland should be back next week," Taylor said at the pre-match press conference. "But we will have to see if he is fit in time for the international break."
